The children of Errenteria give their all in the Txikiciclo Submarino (Underwater Txikicicle)
On May 4th at 10:00 a.m. the Underwater Txikiciclo took place in NIESSEN Kulturgunea. A total of 193 boys and girls aged between 10 and 12 from the Koldo Mitxelena and Bizarain Ikastola schools attended.
An important pillar of this event is the TXIKICICLO SUBMARINO for boys and girls, to whom we will leave a difficult legacy, and who, without a doubt, are the last hope, and will be the driving force behind the necessary change in sensitivity. They have been able to discover this fascinating and wonderful underwater world thanks to the talk and the projection of short films related to the current situation of the sea and how we must act to protect it.
Previously, educational material was provided to the participating schools so that they could do some preliminary work in their classes before attending the event. The aim is to raise awareness of the environmental situation and to develop attitudes of healthy and responsible consumption and respect and care for the environment.
