There is no other underwater film festival quite like CIMASUB. The organisation, details and gifts for the winners, the call for entries, screening days, awards ceremony, the awards themselves, the party on the last day of the event and, something else that is also very important, the publicity given to the festival throughout the following year in many towns and cities across Spain. Everything is top notch.
This festival not only allows many of us to compete with the hope of winning, it also serves to promote the sea and its depths, something that is essential in the times we live in.
If everyone went diving and got to know the seabed, just as when a diver makes their first dive with sharks and realises that they are not as bad as they are made out to be, the world would be very, very different.
