CIMASUB is undoubtedly the lighthouse that lights the way for the most prestigious underwater image festivals in Europe. It is not in vain that it is the most important in Spain and the longest-running - and oldest - on the continent, and certainly in the world.
It is the underwater equivalent of the San Sebastian film festival. With that, I think that everything has been said about what it means to be awarded a prize at the festival.
That's why both Lidia and I are very proud to have been awarded several times at the festival, but above all it fills us with happiness.
Happiness of being able to share unforgettable moments with the rest of our colleagues and the organisers. To exchange impressions, to see international works, to be seduced by new underwater audiovisual proposals in the incomparable setting of the theatre surrounded by spectators and creators. Some of them among the best in the world.
And above all, to feel surrounded by an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie fostered by the great work of the organisation and its director.
In short, CIMASUB is a great celebration of love and respect for the sea and the professionals who try to show it with our images in an incomparable setting, with an excellent organisation, being also one of the most powerful underwater image festivals in Europe.
