"Bird's Head" is the sixteenth chapter of the series "Out of the Black & into the Blue". The Bird's Head peninsula extends to the northwestern part of New Guinea and a large part of the province of West Papua. It is the epicentre of marine biodiversity. With more than 225,000 square kilometres, the area encompassing these different areas is known as a "diving paradise". Here we can find everything we can imagine underwater, and maybe more... Oceanic and reef mantas, whale sharks, groups of different schools of fish, amazing hard and soft coral gardens and, of course, also strange and tiny creatures.
