For me, Cimasub is and has always been not just an underwater film festival, but a gateway to how things should be done. Its international prestige is indisputable, and its team's attention to detail and commitment to excellence in each edition is non-negotiable.
What's more, Cimasub is also a big family that truly makes you feel welcome from day one. I am eternally grateful for the way they open their doors to you and for the opportunity they have given me to meet wonderful colleagues, many of whom have become great friends.
Finally, I would like to highlight the enormous effort and endless hours of work they devote to raising awareness in society, especially among young people, of the need to protect our seas and oceans.
I am very honoured that my work has been considered worthy of these awards at a festival where the standards are so high.
