I had the honour of taking part in this 47th edition of CIMASUB, one of the most prestigious film seasons in Europe, with the award-winning photograph in the "ecological awareness" category. Getting to know San Sebastian, strolling through its streets and arriving at the Teatro Principal full of people waiting to see the screenings is something very exciting. The organisation, led by David Sánchez, was spectacular, they were attentive to us at all times and made us feel at home.
The quality of the short films and documentaries is one of the best you can see and the collection of photographs projected at the closing gala was impressive, all presented and pampered to the last detail. But undoubtedly the best thing of all was meeting so many friends and professionals of the underwater image, a luxury to be able to talk to so many people I admire. I took away with me many new friends, meeting up with others and an experience I will never forget. We will definitely come back.
Finally, I would like to remind you that it is now up to us to take care of and recover our seas and oceans.
