During November, CIMASUB invites the public to immerse themselves in the beauty of the underwater world through a series of photographic exhibitions that transform San Sebastián into a window onto the ocean. These exhibitions can be visited in iconic locations around the city, such as the Nautilus Room at the Aquarium, the Garbera Shopping Centre and the Kirol Etxea at the Anoeta Stadium.
In addition, the spirit of the festival continues throughout the year with the CIMASUB TOUR, which takes the photographic exhibition to around twenty locations throughout the Basque Country. You can check the dates and locations of each stop in the TOUR section of our website.
Each of the exhibitions brings together the 24 best photographs submitted to the festival's annual competition, a selection that stands out for its artistic quality and its ability to transport us to marine landscapes around the globe: from vibrant coral reefs to mysterious ocean depths. These include the winning entries in the Gold, Silver and Bronze Railings categories, as well as the best images in the Environmental Awareness and Cantabrian Sea Photography categories.
