Now that a few weeks have passed since the 42nd edition of the San Sebastian International Underwater Film Festival (CIMASUB) ended, and after the great moments we have experienced and the intense emotions we have felt, I would firstly like to congratulate all the people who form part of the organisational structure of the festival for the excellent work they have done, and which they have been doing for years at all levels, to ensure that the San Sebastian Underwater Film Festival is on a par with the best events of its kind in the world. Secondly, I would like to thank the director, David Sánchez Carretero, and all the people who form part of his team (I will not mention them all because I am afraid of forgetting some of them) for the enormous affection and respect with which they have treated (and always treat) me and the whole family. The creation of the "Francisco Pizarro Award", which will be given every year to a special and relevant person within the audiovisual and underwater sector, will honour the memory of Francisco Pizarro in the best possible way and has made me and all my family extremely happy. As I said, once and a thousand times; thank you very much!
