This October, Cimasub is preparing for a calendar full of exciting activities, in which we will continue our mission to raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of the oceans. Throughout the month, we will be taking part in the Amalur Conference in Tolosa and we will be holding film screenings, photography exhibitions and the underwater Txikiziklo for schools in Zumaia and Portugalete.
Participation in the Amalur Conference - Tolosa
On 4 October we will be taking part in the Amalur Conference, which is being held in Tolosa, Gipuzkoa. This conference, which began in 2006, is a meeting point for discovering and reflecting on landscapes, cultures and people from all over the world. Through round tables, conferences and screenings, Amalur promotes a global approach to nature, travel and anthropology.
The objectives of the Amalur Conference are aligned with our vision at Cimasub, as they seek to encourage critical reflection on the environmental and social problems of the territories studied, collaborating with organisations and experts to promote solutions. We are pleased to be part of this event for the first time and to share our perspective on the oceans, their ecosystems and the challenges they face.
Exhibitions and screenings in Zumaia and Portugalete
In addition to our participation in Amalur, this October we will be taking our projections and exhibitions to Zumaia and Portugalete, two towns where lovers of the underwater world will be able to enjoy the magic of the oceans.
