On the 5th November at the Zorroaga Residence, some of the best works of underwater cinema will be screened at 17:15. This event, which is part of an initiative to bring underwater cinema to residences and other centres, will allow attendees to enjoy stunning images and videos by renowned underwater photographers and filmmakers. The selection aims to immerse residents, family members and staff in the beauty and mystery of the oceans, highlighting the importance of conservation.
VIGO hosts Underwater Film Week and the anticipated return of CIMASUB
For the first time in over three decades, CIMASUB returns to the Underwater Film Week in Vigo, presenting a curated selection of short films and documentaries on November 20. Featuring works by international filmmakers, these screenings will introduce the Vigo audience to stunning underwater landscapes and messages of ecological awareness and ocean preservation. This event reinforces CIMASUB's commitment to education and the spread of underwater culture across different parts of Spain.
48th Edition of CIMASUB in SAN SEBASTIAN: Film, Education, and Photography in a Unique Event
The annual festival in San Sebastián will be held from November 18 to 23, offering a comprehensive program that includes the Txikiziklo Submarino, dedicated to primary school children, photography exhibitions, and main screenings at the Principal Theater. Public screenings on November 21, 22, and 23 will explore marine biodiversity, conservation, and the connection between human communities and the ocean. Admission is free, and tickets can be collected at the box office on the day of each session.
Additionally, photography exhibitions will be displayed throughout San Sebastián in venues such as the Nautilus Room at the Aquarium, the Garbera Shopping Center, and Kirol Etxea at the Reale Arena, showcasing the astonishing biodiversity and underwater landscapes.
