CIMASUB and IUCN SSC Coral Specialist Group partner to boost coral conservation
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership between CIMASUB and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our efforts to promote marine conservation and protect coral ecosystems, and we are incredibly excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
At CIMASUB, we have always strived to be a voice for environmental causes, and this alliance allows us to take our commitment to the next level. The IUCN, with its vast network of experts and scientific resources, is a global authority on environmental conservation. Their dedication and work of the IUCN SSC (Species Survival Commission) Coral Specialist Group in protecting coral reefs are exemplary, and we are fully aligned with their values and objectives.
For the IUCN SSC Coral Specialist Group, this collaboration with CIMASUB means having a creative and visually impactful platform to communicate their important conservation messages to a broader and more diverse audience. Our San Sebastián International Underwater Film Festival and the year-round Cimasub Tour are powerful tools for raising awareness and inspiring action. With the IUCN’s scientific backing, we can ensure that our content is both informative and inspirational.
Together, we aim to develop educational and awareness campaigns that not only inform but also mobilize society towards the necessary action to protect our valuable marine ecosystems. This partnership amplifies the impact of both organizations, strengthening our joint credibility and reaching communities that would otherwise be difficult to access.
At CIMASUB, we firmly believe in the importance of collaboration to achieve real and lasting change. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership with the IUCN SSC Coral Specialist Group brings and are committed to supporting and giving visibility to the impressive coral conservation work they are carrying out..
Thank you for joining us on this exciting journey. Together, we can make a significant difference in protecting our oceans and the biodiversity they harbor. Stay tuned for upcoming initiatives and projects that will emerge from this powerful alliance!
