CIMASUB in EIBAR in December presented at press conference
CIMASUB, the International Underwater Film Series, returns, in its 21st edition, to the Coliseo Antzokia with free admission, in a unique opportunity in Eibar. You will be able to enjoy the best works by underwater photographers and videographers from all over the planet, who, driven by their passion for the sea, all contribute together to show both the beauty of the oceans and their degradation, placing special emphasis on the pressure we humans exert on an environment that is vital for life as a whole.
A press conference was held this morning at the Eibar sports club. Alberto Albístegui, councillor for the environment, David Sánchez, director of the International Underwater Film Series, Iñaki Osoro, president of the sports club, and Javier Escudero and Arrate Eraso, heads of the underwater commission, were in charge of presenting all the activities that will take place during the first week of December.
The CIMASUB programme in EIBAR will be made up of:
Film sessions at the Coliseo Antzokia. On 14, 15 and 16 December, from 19:00 to 20:30, a total of 32 short films and 5 documentaries will take us to underwater paradises all over the planet and show us the harshness of the suffering we are causing our seas.
The Txikiziklo Submarino for families and schools will be held at the Coliseo Antzokia in Eibar on Friday 16 for schools, aimed at children aged between 10 and 12, in 5th and 6th year of Primary Education. And on Saturday 17 December at 12:00h. Txikiziklo in family, with free admission for everyone.
The photographic exhibition, until 18 December in the Arrate kultur elkartea hall, will be open until 18 December, the exhibition of the best photographs submitted to this year's CIMASUB.
