Four destinations for Cimasub on its February agenda
During February, CIMASUB – Donostia-San Sebastián International Underwater Film Festival will bring underwater culture and cinema to several locations through film screenings, photography exhibitions, and educational activities aimed at both schoolchildren and senior citizens. Zumarraga, Amurrio, Lasarte-Oria, and Zarautz will host a diverse program designed for all audiences.
Zumarraga
The underwater film will be shown on February 3, 10, and 17 at the Zelai Arizti cinema at 7:00 p.m. In addition, from February 3 to 17, an underwater photography exhibition will be on display in the lobby of the Zelai Arizti Cultural Center. In the educational sphere, the Txikiziklo, aimed at local elementary school students, will be held on February 17 at the Zelai Arizti cinema, while the Adinziklo, aimed at senior citizens, will take place at the Argixao Residence.
Amurrio
The underwater film screenings will take place on February 5, 12, and 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amurrio Antzokia, with free admission and no need to pick up a ticket. The Txikiziklo Submarino for schoolchildren will take place on February 5 at the Amurrio Antzokia. The Adinziklo Submarino activity for seniors will take place in May.
Lasarte-Oria
The public can enjoy underwater cinema on February 9, 16, and 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Manuel Lekuona Kultur Etxea, also with free admission. The town will also host an underwater photography exhibition from February 7 to 27 in the Town Hall lobby,from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Txikiziklo Submarino for schoolchildren will be held on February 9 at the Manuel Lekuona Kultur Etxea, while the Adinziklo Submarino for adults will take place on February 10 at the Residencia Atsobakar.
Zarautz
The underwater film program will be added on February 11, 18, and 25 at 7:00 p.m. at theModelo cinema, with free admission. The underwater photography exhibition will be open from February 7 to 26 at the Zarautz Municipal Market, Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on weekends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Underwater Txikiziklo for schoolchildren will be held on February 11 at the Modelo cinema. As for the Underwater Adinziklo, there will be two sessions at the Maria Etxetxiki Residence, one aimed at users of the day center and the other at residents of the supervised apartments.
