Today, Friday, the second immersion at CIMASUB, at 7 p.m. the Teatro Principal will become a large submarine that will dive into the waters of the entire planet to take us on a magical journey through the big blue. What are we going to be able to see today, Friday, at CIMASUB?
A new journey to the other side of the mirror of the planet's oceans. All the ends and seas of the world will be the backdrop for today's dives. The whole chromatic range of blue for the staging of the greatest underwater spectacle in the world, where life and biodiversity cannot be seen in a single glance. Where the gods manifested themselves in a clear and precise way, the Olympus of Ma'o Ma'o sharks, there are still clear signs of their presence. Stories in which legend and mythology merge, ancient seas described by Ovid and Homer, places that live not only in history.
Each of the objects we leave behind in nature tells a story, unique and unrepeatable, a journey where there is room for awareness and also for laughter. Remote places, nearby oceans rich in marine life, the seasons are also spent underwater. Home to tiger sharks, at the top of the food chain, human beings show their best profile in direct contact, to alleviate the pressure that fishing puts on the great architects of the oceans. A friendly image of the great predators of the ocean.
Art, apnea, history and literature come together to express themselves visually with a spectacular and unexpected result. We will continue, experiencing the primal sensations that freediving gives us, a powerful evocative effect of the first months of life, from the womb suspended in our small amniotic sea. Indonesia, in and out of the water, is a veritable garden, a gift from the gods, of an infinite beauty that enamours the beholder. Hidden in the depths, the peaceful and gentle life is threatened by dark forces, they run the terrible risk of being destroyed forever, their existence, peaceful and surrounded by beauty, is threatened.
