Awarded the silver medal for the second best documentary of the festival, it tackles critical problems such as overfishing and pollution, highlighting the urgency of the situation of our oceans. A colloquium will follow the screening. It will be led by Alberto Santolaria, doctor in marine biology, science populariser and president of the Nakusarbe association.

The first edition of CIMASUB in Arrasate, scheduled for Tuesdays 23 and 30 January at Kulturate, as well as 6 February at Amaia Antzokia at 19:30, promises to dazzle ocean lovers. Free admission for a unique experience featuring outstanding film works, reflecting the beauty and degradation of the oceans.
The event is not limited to film screenings, as it features an underwater photography exhibition at Kulturate from 23 January to 2 February. This exhibition will immerse visitors in the mysterious seabed, highlighting the complex relationship between humanity and nature.
In addition, CIMASUB's commitment to education and environmental awareness is reflected in the Txikiziklo Submarino, an educational tour involving more than 2,500 primary school students. This programme seeks to promote ocean conservation and foster children's perception of the marine environment. On 6 February at 10:00 at the Amaia Antzokia, a unique experience will be offered to students from local schools.
