In 2003, the last edition of the International Underwater Film Series was held in Eibar, which was celebrating its nineteenth edition in this town in Guipuzcoa, which began its first steps back in 1984.
On the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Eibar Sports Club and thanks to the sponsorship of the Eibar Town Council, we have returned once again to this town, which has received us with great enthusiasm and emotion.
The experience has been gratifying for all of us. The large number of people who attended the screenings in the Coliseum and the Portalea cultural centre, as well as the large number of visitors to the Arrate cultural centre to see the photographic exhibition, show us the interest that our event has aroused among the people of Eibar.
This success has meant that we are already working on the planning of the twentieth edition, which will be held at the end of 2021.
