Photo exhibition in the Kirol Etxea of the Reale Arena

With the collaboration of the Gipuzkoa Federation of Underwater Activities, an exhibition has been organised, from 21st January to the end of April, in which, among other photographs of some of the members of the Gipuzkoa Federation, we at CIMASUB have loaned the photographs that were presented in the 43rd edition of our competition.

In that edition, 38 galleries from all over the world entered the competition, 10 of them with photographs of the Bay of Biscay. In total there were nearly 200 photographs. Of all of them, 23 of the best photographs presented are exhibited, highlighting of course those of the winners of that edition:

• François Baelen: Golden Handrail (GIPUZKOAKO FORU ALDUNDIA - ORAIN Gipuzkoa Award).
• Massimo Giorgetta: Italian, Silver Banister
• Eduardo Acevedo: Bronze Handrail
• Daniel Landa: Best Gallery of the Cantabrian Sea (GUIF Award)
• Aldo Gustavo Galante: El Argentino received for the second consecutive year the award for the best gallery with ecological denouncement (GOBIERNO VASCO Award)
