The organisers of the Donostia-San Sebastián International Underwater Film Festival would like to thank all the participants for the more than 110 works submitted to the competition, including photographic galleries, short films and documentaries.
Every year the number of entries increases, but above all we are surprised by the great increase in quality that year after year shows that the underwater image sector is improving every day and that we have great talent working under the waters around the world.
We are excited to continue growing as an international reference. We have participants from Argentina, Canada, Mexico, Belgium, France, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, Serbia, etc. in addition, of course, to the large number of national works that show that our country is one of the best in this sector, as reflected by the great results in competitions and championships worldwide.
Many thanks to all the professionals and amateurs of the underwater audiovisual sector who from countries all over the world continue to send their work to our contest to participate in our competition and present their work to the public. Congratulations for your great work. We wish you the best of luck in our 44th edition of CIMASUB.
We are anxiously awaiting the evaluations of all the works presented, because this year we are going to enjoy the extraordinary quality of these works and we are going to enjoy travelling around the world touring the most spectacular seabed of the planet.

During the month of October we will publish the list of winners in the different categories and the official programme with information and schedules of all the screenings.
We invite you all to come on this fantastic underwater journey with us on the 19th, 20th and 21st of November at the Teatro Principal in Donostia-San Sebastián. Of course, with all the health guarantees, to safeguard your safety. We will keep you informed of all the news that awaits us.
