This Saturday 29th CIMASUB in the open air in Hondarribia
Little by little, we are gradually recovering the events that were postponed due to the state of alarm. This time Hondarribia, where CIMASUB is going to offer an open-air cinema session, to be held on Saturday 29th August at 22h in the gardens of Kasino Zaharra. The event was due to take place on 12 and 13 March but was postponed due to COVID-19. An opportunity to screen underwater cinema in an incomparable setting and under the stars. We can't think of a better plan.
If the circumstances allow it, it will be an honour to have Laura Madrueño, who will present the documentary she stars in, Un paso de gigante, winner of the Golden Handrail.
This is a new initiative that enriches the City Council's summer cinema offer. Underwater cinema is a growing discipline, with very positive environmental values. It is very important to spread awareness of the situation in which our seas find themselves. It is a problem that has been around for a long time but is still with us today. The main objective is to make it visible with short and attractive videos.
The plan has free admission, but it is necessary to collect the invitation at:
kutxabank Arma Plaza, Tourist Office
A maximum of 300 seats will be set up and all sanitary measures will be taken, with separate entrances and exits. Spectators must wear a mask. In the event of bad weather, the activity will take place in the Soroeta pelota court.
