Despite the more than 100 tickets booked, the bad weather did not help more people to come to the Soroeta pelota court to enjoy the first edition of the Hondarribia International Underwater Film Series.
The event was presented by María Serrano Olaskoaga, councillor for commerce, tourism, youth, community prevention and Basque and by David Sánchez Carretero, director of CIMASUB.
The attendees were able to enjoy the projections accompanied by lightning in the background, which gave an even more magical atmosphere to the open air Cimasub. On this occasion, the event was moved from the Kasino Zaharra to the Soroeta pelota court.
We would like to thank the Hondarribia Town Hall for giving us the opportunity to bring our Cycle to Hondarribia and to all the organising team because they have made a great effort to make the event possible after its postponement due to the state of health alarm. From CIMASUB we only wish that we can repeat it in the future in its original location and hopefully it can be with a more summery weather. We think it is a perfect plan. Underwater cinema under the stars.
