The Donostia-San Sebastián International Underwater Film Festival (CIMASUB) presents the official trailer for its 50th edition, an exciting preview of what lies in store from 12 to 14 November 2026 at the Teatro Principal in San Sebastián.
This year we are celebrating a very special edition: 50 years of sharing the beauty, excitement and secrets of the underwater world. Half a century of bringing the oceans closer to the public through the images of photographers and filmmakers from all over the globe, discovering the extraordinary marine biodiversity and reminding us of the importance of protecting our seas.
The CIMASUB 2026 trailer invites us to immerse ourselves, once again, in that fascinating universe that lies beneath the surface. It offers a small taste of the stories, landscapes and surprising encounters we’ll be able to enjoy on the big screen.
The 50th edition of CIMASUB will feature three underwater film screenings, photographic exhibitions, educational activities and a moving tribute to the people who, through their enthusiasm and dedication, have ensured that this festival remains alive and well after five decades.
