Cimasub fills February with activities in Lasarte-Oria, Zarautz and San Sebastián
The International Underwater Film Festival, Cimasub, is preparing for a month of February packed with exciting activities that will bring the wonders of the underwater world to people of all ages. The initiatives include film screenings, photographic exhibitions and special programmes in Lasarte-Oria, Zarautz and San Sebastian.
Activities in Lasarte-Oria
Cimasub will be present at the Manuel Lekuona Cultural Centre with various activities programmed:
Underwater Film Screenings: On the 10th, 17th and 24th of February at 19:00.
Underwater Photography Exhibition: From 10th to 27th February, the cafeteria of the Casa de Cultura will house an impressive collection of underwater images. The exhibition will be open from Monday to Friday, from 17:00 to 20:00 h.
Underwater Txikiziklo: On the 10th, 5th and 6th grade primary school students will be able to enjoy a session specially designed for them.
Underwater Adinziklo: Special session for the elderly at the Atsobakar retirement home.
Activities in Zarautz
In Zarautz, the activities will take place at the Cine Modelo and Merkatu Plaza:
Underwater Cinema Screenings: On the 12th, 19th and 26th of February, at 19:00 h, the Cine Modelo will be the venue for these underwater cinema sessions.
Underwater Photography Exhibition: From 10th to 27th February, in the Merkatu Plaza. Visiting hours will be from Monday to Friday, from 17:00 to 19:00 h, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 to 14:00 h.
Underwater Txikiziklo: On the 12th, the youngest visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in this universe.
Underwater Adinziklo: Special session for the elderly at the María Etxetxiki Centre.
Activities in San Sebastian
As part of the Underwater Adinziklo programme, Cimasub will bring underwater cinema to the elderly at the Berra and Villa Sacramento retirement homes in San Sebastian.
