Cimasub tours Gipuzkoa in March with underwater cinema, exhibitions, and intergenerational activities
The Donostia – San Sebastián International Underwater Film Festival (CIMASUB) continues its work in March to raise awareness of the underwater world through film, photography, and educational and social activities. This month, the festival will visit Errenteria, Deba, Azpeitia, and Hondarribia, bringing underwater cinema to audiences of all ages with screenings, exhibitions, and special sessions of Txikiziklo and Adinziklo.
Errenteria
The program in Errenteria will be particularly comprehensive. On March 3, 4, and 6, at 7:00 p.m., underwater film screenings will be held at Niessen Kulturgunea.
In addition, from February 27 to March 20, a photographic exhibition will be open to visitors at the Molino de Fanderia, during restaurant hours. This year, to mark International Women's Day (March 8), the exhibition will consist entirely of photographs taken by women photographers, highlighting their perspective and contribution to the world of underwater imagery.
The program is rounded off with a Txikiziklo for schoolchildren in the municipality on March 3 at Niessen Kulturgunea, and with the Adinziklo activity, which will bring underwater cinema to the elderly residents of the Sanmarkosene nursing home.
Deba
In Deba, underwater cinema will arrive on March 5, 12, and 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Kultur Elkartea.
