The Txikiziklo, which will teach the kids to respect the sea, gets underway
The TXIKICICLO will be held throughout the week from Monday 16 to 20 November. The events (documentaries, talks,...) will take place from 10:00 to 12:00 in the Aquarium auditorium. The Txikiciclo, which this year celebrates its eighth edition, is one of the important events in which the Real Sociedad Fundazioa participates, as the values instilled by the TXIKICICLO are the values defended by the Real Sociedad since our foundation.
The aim of the TXIKICICLO is to educate our children to respect the sea and the environment. Every day between 50 and 70 primary school pupils from the Jakintza Ikastola, Katalina Erauso and Amara Berri schools will enjoy this very special event.
This year, special care will be taken to ensure the health safety of all the children attending. Each day only pupils from a single school will attend, half capacity, hand washing, masks, safety distance, exits and entrances, staggered visits to the Aquarium with small groups, etc.
From today, Monday, the children will also have a leading role with a new edition of the 'Txikiciclo'. Nearly 300 students from schools in San Sebastian will delve into the marine world thanks to the short films that will be screened along with activities that will take place in the Aquarium with the aim of promoting knowledge of the sea and respect for the environment among young people, with the effect of rubbish and plastic in the oceans as the main theme. Always with the support of our collaborators, GAEA Elkartea Association, Azti, Oribay Tours, Navegavela and PiEupvehu.
You are invited to attend CIMASUB 2020. We look forward to seeing you at the Teatro Principal on 19, 20 and 21 November at 19h. Free admission to all events, until full capacity is reached. We hope that the programme will be to everyone's liking...
