CIMASUB 2025 has announced its official winners, and with them we celebrate an edition that has made us dream, dive and thrill to every story screened. This year, the festival reminds us once again why underwater cinema is a unique window onto the wonder and beauty of the oceans.
The award-winning works invite us to immerse ourselves in surprising landscapes, encounters with marine life and stories that raise awareness of the importance of caring for our natural environment. The Teatro Principal in San Sebastian will be decked out in blue on 13, 14 and 15 November to host the most outstanding screenings and the grand awards gala on Saturday 15, where we will celebrate with the audience the filmmakers who have conquered this 49th edition of the festival.
It will be an event full of excitement, discoveries and underwater art. An opportunity to enjoy cinema, share experiences and pay tribute to the underwater world in all its splendour.
