CIMASUB 2024 already has its official winners, and we couldn’t be more moved by the incredible response we’ve received this year. Over 300 participants shared their art with us, elevating the underwater cinema lineup and gifting us with an unforgettable edition!
This competition stands out not only for the captivating stories projected on the screen but also for the immense talent and dedication of each participant. From mesmerizing short films and documentaries to thrilling photo galleries, every piece submitted is a reflection of the love for the oceans and the creators' commitment to their protection. Thanks to their efforts, CIMASUB continues to be an exciting event where each year, we find new ways to explore and admire the depths of the sea.
So, a big round of applause to everyone who made this edition possible! Without your passion for underwater cinema and art, this competition wouldn’t be what it is today. Each film, every photograph, is a reminder of why, after 48 years, this festival remains so vibrant.
And now, it's time to celebrate. On November 21, 22, and 23, the best works of this edition will be screened at the Antzoki Zaharra Theatre in Donostia, and you can’t miss them! But that’s not all. The awards gala, on Saturday, November 23, will be the main event where we honor the creators of the standout works—a night to applaud our artists and celebrate the love for the underwater world!
